Terms of Service

By accessing or using PicVideoLive ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

PicVideoLive is an event media sharing platform that enables event organizers to collect, moderate, and display real-time photos and videos from event attendees through QR code integration.

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a license to store, display, and distribute that content as necessary to provide the Service. You agree not to upload content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Violates privacy rights of others

As an event organizer, you are responsible for:

• Obtaining necessary consents from attendees for media collection
• Moderating content uploaded to your events
• Complying with applicable privacy laws
• Ensuring your event use complies with these terms

PicVideoLive offers tiered event packages with specific features and limitations. By selecting a package, you agree to operate within its constraints:

• Free: 100 uploaders, 1GB storage, 1 hour duration, photos only, ad-supported
• Basic ($60): 100 uploaders, 5GB storage, 2.5 hours, 10-second video clips
• Professional ($120): 500 uploaders, 20GB storage, 5 hours, 20-second clips, custom URLs
• Enterprise ($250): Unlimited uploaders, 100GB storage, 12 hours, 1-minute clips, white-label
• Package limits are enforced at upload time and cannot be exceeded
• Storage and duration limits are snapshotted when the event is created

Paid packages are billed per event. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Payment must be completed before accessing paid features such as slideshows, bulk downloads, and gallery access.

• Payment is required before event activation for paid tiers
• You may create events and upload media before payment
• Slideshow and download features require completed payment
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice for new events

Our refund policy is designed to be fair while protecting against abuse. Refunds are available under specific conditions:

• Full refunds available ONLY if no bulk media downloads have been made
• Once you download event media (bulk download), no refund will be issued
• Individual media views do not affect refund eligibility
• Refunds processed within 5-10 business days via original payment method
• Technical issues preventing service use may qualify for refund review
• Request refunds through your account dashboard or [email protected]

Events follow a defined lifecycle with important restrictions designed to ensure fair usage:

• Events can be scheduled for a future date and time
• Events may be postponed before they start
• Once an event starts (manually or automatically), IT CANNOT BE STOPPED
• Event duration is limited by your package tier
• Events automatically end when duration limit is reached
• Uploads are blocked after event duration expires
• This policy ensures fair billing and prevents abuse

Media uploaded to events is retained for a period determined by your package tier. After this period, media is automatically and permanently deleted:

• Free: 7 days after event ends
• Basic: 30 days after event ends
• Professional: 90 days after event ends
• Enterprise: 180 days after event ends
• Download your media before the retention period expires
• We are not responsible for media not downloaded before deletion
• Retention periods begin when the event status changes to "ended"

You have rights regarding your personal data under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations:

• Right to export all your personal data in JSON format
• Right to permanently delete your account and all associated data
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information
• Data export available via Settings > Export Data
• Account deletion requires explicit confirmation
• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PicVideoLive and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PicVideoLive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PicVideoLive and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new terms on the Service and updating the "last updated" date.
